The
Silent Epidemic (updated October 2010)
Our
young people are at great risk.
At
a time when the media portrays premarital sex as the norm, our
teens need to be informed 
of
the risks of sexually transmitted diseases. The U.S. has the highest
rates of sexually transmitted infections among developed countries,more
than 19 million people diagnosed every year – AND 50% are
ages 15 through 24 years old. Most infections have little or no
symptoms, thus we’re calling the epidemic a “silent”
one.
CNES’ medically accurate and colorful, tri-fold brochure
is geared to educate the young about these dangers. It is an excellent
tool that exposes the fallacies and reveals the real dangers of
“safe sex.” This factual and easy-to-read brochure
is widely distributed by alternative pregnancy centers across
